Flower power..............

Well guess what I have been preoccupied with the last 2 days??!!

The crochet thing clicked all of a sudden and became my new hobby of the moment which is great for keeping me occupied and away from the fridge in an evening as there are far to many food temptations at the moment to test me. I imagine my flowers etc will get much better as they are not very neat at the moment and look nothing like the flowers on the Attic24 blog that I followed the pattern for but they are definate flower shapes so I am happy for the moment and even found another flower pattern which you then circle round into more of a raised flower (the blue one in the bottom right corner) Hubby did look a bit concerned when I set myself up in bed last night surrounded by balls of wool and doing that silly tongue sticking out when concentrating on something but he knows better now than to question me and left me to it :-)

Today I am trying to make one to go with Mum's birthday present as, like all Mum's, she will pretend its the best thing she has ever seen even if it's rubbish :-D

Have a great weekend :-)

Yay Lesley! They look flipping fantastic.
I'm off to TP textiles tomorrow morning to see if they have any suitable wool. I don't even remember if they sell wool or not.
I've cracked it again now and you're right it does keep you occupied, I found far less time to snack. I'm hoping to make some that I can put in a little vase.
We'll have to do crochet and coffee soon.

Yaay, well done Lesely, they look great and I'm sure your mum will agree! My mum used to do the tounge thing and we used to get her to try and do things without sticking her tounge out and she couldnt :)
Thanks for the websites, I've been a very good girl and havent checked out yet, although I feel them calling me!!
Have fun crocheting

They look fantastic, and your mum will love them because they are!
I know what you mean about leaving comments - with me, there's certain blogs I just cannot leave comments on ... but then randomly I can. I can't leave a comment on Attics blog, for example, or LittleGem.
Have a good day - we've built a snowman! x
