Wallpaper progress...............

I took the plunge today and decided to have a go at this wallpapering malarkey............ hmmmmm 2 hours later totally despairing of how hard it REALLY is I think I will leave it to the experts in future but for my first ever go at wallpapering I am sort of pleased with my efforts!!

I have taken this picture and am blogging immediately to record this momentous moment as I have a feeling it will all be on the floor in the morning having fallen down overnight :-D

Now, when Mr Thrifty and I buy a house how much will we have to pay for your wallpapering talents?

Hey, why don't you start your wallpapering first by doing a really tricky shaped understairs area, with a doorway thrown in?
Oh hang on a minute you did do that !lol....
Well done you! it looks fab.....
The first time I wallpapered I started on a straight bit and got the "hang" of it a little by the time I had to takle the door and window!
I love the pattern, that shiny finish really adds to the depth!
I am so goin to enjoy doing my bedroom!!!!

If only my first ever go at wallpapering looked as good as that, I’ve never tried it since!
It looks lovely, fingers crossed for you that it’s still there in the morning.

Looks very good to me! And to start with that space!.............. I suspect you may have started out with a difficult area to paper, so you've done brilliantly! Hope it's going well with the diet?!

What a lovely job!!! You must have a real feeling of achievement -well done!!!
Back in the 80's, at my first house, my ex started wallpapering the bedroom. When something didn't go right, he lost his temper, ripped the sheet he was hanging down, and stormed off!!!
From that point, ( I had never papered before), I took over, and finished the room!!!! It wasn't perfect, but looked lovely!! You don't know what you can do till you try! Love the hearts too : )

Happy weekend
