snow, snow go away, don't come back till Christmas day......

Sunday morning offered bright sunshine with grass and tree's appearing from under the blanket of snow they had been covered in. Thank goodness I thought, relieved the snow thing was all over , but then later that afternoon flurries start to fall from the sky and yet another blanket of whiteness covers everything this morning! So today I am huddled up in my warm kitchen about to eat my Creme Egg which is allowed as you can have eggs for breakfast can't you.......

I did want to share with you my Valentine Swap Parcel (organised by AThriftyMrs)received from my lovely swap partner Beki
She sent the most lovely parcel and it felt like Christmas all over again :-)
Thank you Beki I love it all!!! I especially love the blue dotty heart because she made it for me :-)

hope you all have a good week!

Ooh lovely swap gifties! Both those hearts are lovely, the welcome one is so simple and pretty. I like the Bridgewater card too (I think that's the only kind of Bridgewater I can afford!!!!!).

ooh, lovely pretties in your swap.

It's one of those rules that you can eat whatever you want when it's snowing (like, eating lettuce with anything makes it healthy) - something to do with being cold and needing comfort, or burning more calories, or something.

Can you tell why diets and me don't work ??!?

Just had to let yoou know - I had a creme egg for breakfast too! Well, it was just sitting there, looking all lonely in the cupboard - I'm sure the children won't even notice it's gone!!

Love your swap gifts - the book looks interesting - must look that one up!

Pants! Left you a message on Yesterdays blog!

Creme eggs for breakfast - yum. Had a near death experience once, after eating 6 in a short space of time (trying to hoover up the evidence again..) Never again - Lord knows what my blood sugars went up too & felt seriously gippy!

OOh your swap goodies look so lovely and beautifully wrapped up. Wrapped pressies always look so nice.
The ribbon thingy was like a ribbon shredder that you shred silk ribbon or floristry ribbon with and you can make flower shapes etc. My explanation wasnt the best on my post!I put for making ribbons nice, I meant nice but not tidy!!I dont explain myself properly sometimes, I always put thingy if I cant remember a name of something too!

Hi Lesley,

Re mixer -3 lines of reasoning to use:

1. If it lasts as long a as my mother-in laws (35+ yrs, it will work out at less than £4 a year.

2. You can use it to create goodies for his children - with no bouncy 'Eees'

3. Pout lots ....

Hope you have had a lovely day & that little man's energy levels are back up.

Love Lydia
