Christmas! I get soooo excited about Christmas each year and can hardly wait for November to come around so I can officially get into the spirit of things :-)
One thing that really gets my Christmas mojo working is the Christmas editions of some of my favourite interiors magazines.

Never one to disappoint me is Ideal Home Magazine - made even more "ideal" by the yearly calendar they include which has some fab pictures that Lucy over at Attic24 waxes lyrical about and for good reason :-)

Just a couple of little snippets of this month's yummy pages for your perusal ;-)

I do have my own quest for an "Ideal Home" but looking forlornly at the massive tiling job that is being undertaken in my own home makes me run back to the sofa and lose myself in the pages of my magazine and plan for the day our (not so) little project is all finished :-)

bye for now

Hi Lesley!
Wow! That is quite a big tile job! I bet it will look lovely once finished.
I am starting to get into the Christmas feel too. It always happens once I am back from our holiday to see my family. The mags this year are looking promising. :)

Looking good though Lesley, how long till completion?
Happy reading, I picked that one up and put it back down thinking I had enough. Think I might nip back out and pick it up.

I treated myself to that mag this morning - some lovely things in there and some good ideas.
I know I have a Christmas Magazine addiction - am trying hard this year to fight it. However the December Country Homes & Interiors mag is due out tomorrow - I must resist & probably fail *blush*
Thank you for visiting my blog. Good Luck with the tiling. It should look great when it is finished! I found Ideal Home mag very useful when we were renovating our cottage, which is now nearly finished, thankfully.
Very, very nice tiles - It'll look fab when its finished... Will have to go & get that mag now its been recomended (well it would be rude not to).

I love magazine for the escapism and especially the Christmas editions!
Thank for the peek,

It's looking FAB Lesley and I'm sure it'll make the whole room seem so much bigger and brighter (If that's possible)!
I'm so looking forward to Christmas too....Went to Winchester CK today and stopped myself buying all the gorgeous xmas decorations and the lovely big stocking (Only £10..bargain)!!
Take care,
Jane. x
Your tiles will be worth all the angst soon ! I love Christmas too .
Gosh, its a hard job, but it will be well worth it! suzie. x
You've gone and made me buy another magazine. It is a lovely issue though, and now I have a calendar, too. I spy Southwold beach huts in August.

Love the tiles Lesley, big project going on here at the moment. I will look forward to seeing yours complete...gosh where is the time going? I am finding it almost impossible to keep up with everything and everyone. I have made Christmas Lists for all in my family, to complete, helps a lot with ideas and we all get to cross off items on these lists which is very satisfying.
Happy Reading.

I love all the Xmas mags too, especially the 'homes' ones.Have just bought Country Homes and Interiors, and I'm going to settle down tonight infront of the fire with a box of chocs...and enjoy!I never throw any away,so I have them stacked out all over the house!
